Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure Tazapay Completes Series B Funding, with Ripple, Circle Ventures, and Others Participating
BlockBeats News, August 27th, cross-border payment infrastructure Tazapay announced the completion of its Series B financing. This round was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Ripple (USA), Circle Ventures, Norinchukin Capital (Japan), and GMO VenturePartners (Japan). Existing investors January Capital and ARC 180 also continued to invest.
Tazapay is a global cross-border payment infrastructure platform with an annualized payment processing volume exceeding $10 billion. It has achieved break-even and maintained a 300% year-on-year growth. The company has been licensed in Singapore, Canada, and the EU. The new funds will be used to accelerate the application of DPT licenses in the UAE, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore. Ripple's and Circle's investments highlight Tazapay's significant role in bridging traditional finance and digital currency payment realms.
