High-profile ETH Whale Swaps 1000 BTC to Bitcoin Ancient Whale deposits into Hyperliquid or to increase ETH holdings
BlockBeats News, August 26th, according to on-chain data, the previously high-profile Bitcoin ancient whale who had been rebalancing into ETH is currently transferring the remaining 1,968 BTC (approximately $220 million). They had just deposited 1,000 BTC (approximately $110 million) into Hyperliquid, and the deposit is currently in progress. This portion of the funds may be used to further increase their ETH holdings.
Previously, the whale had sold a total of 22,142 BTC on Hyperliquid, amounting to $2.48 billion. Additionally, four days before starting to transition into ETH, they also sold 3,000 BTC (approximately $336 million) through an over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform. The whale has accumulated a total of 544,977.69 ETH, valued at $2.45 billion (calculated using BTC at $112,000 and ETH at $4,500). As of the time of writing, the whale has staked the 544,981 ETH they hold.
